#Sahel_Institute mobilise la jeunesse malienne contre la #d\u00e9sinformation<\/div>
Face \u00e0 la mont\u00e9e pr\u00e9occupante de la d\u00e9sinformation au Mali, le Sahel Institute, avec l\u2019appui du National Endowment for Democracy<\/a><\/span>, a lanc\u00e9 \u00e0 Bamako une s\u00e9rie d\u2019activit\u00e9s dans le cadre du projet \u00ab Jeunes inform\u00e9s, citoyens engag\u00e9s : Piliers de la d\u00e9mocratie malienne \u00bb. Ce programme vise \u00e0 renforcer la r\u00e9silience de la jeunesse et \u00e0 promouvoir une culture de l\u2019information fiable, critique et citoyenne.<\/div>
Trois grandes activit\u00e9s ont marqu\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re phase du projet :<\/div>
\u2022 Une conf\u00e9rence de presse officielle pour pr\u00e9senter le projet aux m\u00e9dias et \u00e0 la jeunesse, et susciter une adh\u00e9sion collective autour de la lutte contre la d\u00e9sinformation ;<\/div>
\u2022 Une formation \u00e0 la pens\u00e9e critique et \u00e0 la v\u00e9rification des faits, qui a permis \u00e0 20 jeunes leaders d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir des comp\u00e9tences en fact-checking et de cr\u00e9er une plateforme communautaire de v\u00e9rification sur WhatsApp ;<\/div>
\u2022 Une session de sensibilisation interactive de 22 jeunes sur les dangers de la d\u00e9sinformation et la responsabilit\u00e9 citoyenne dans la diffusion d\u2019informations v\u00e9rifi\u00e9es.<\/div>
Ces activit\u00e9s, qui ont connu un fort engouement \u00e0 Bamako, constituent la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape d\u2019un processus national. Les prochaines phases du projet se d\u00e9rouleront dans les r\u00e9gions de S\u00e9gou, Mopti, Tombouctou et Gao, afin d\u2019\u00e9largir la mobilisation et d\u2019impliquer davantage de jeunes dans la lutte contre la d\u00e9sinformation.<\/div>
Ensemble, les jeunes maliens deviennent les acteurs de la v\u00e9rit\u00e9, de la transparence et de la d\u00e9mocratie.<\/div>
